Kate Middleton looked every inch the princess as she stepped out with hubby Prince William at an event in London last night (September 12), leaving baby son Prince George at home.
The Royal couple spent their first night away from George at the Tusk Trust Awards - which champions wildlife conservationists - at the Royal Society, where they were guests of honour.
K-Middy opted to wear a figure-hugging sequinned gown by designer Jenny Packham for the occasion, showing off her post-pregnancy figure, as she completed her look with silver snakeskin Jimmy Choos.
During his speech at the ceremony, Wills said: "As you might have gathered, Catherine and I have recently become proud parents - of a baby who has a voice to match any lion's roar.
"This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home."
It is thought that Kate's mum Carole was looking after the tot, with the Duchess quoted by The Daily Mail as saying that George was "sleeping well", before adding: "But I know these things suddenly change."
Their night out came after William completed his last ever shift for the RAF on Tuesday (September 10), with the future King now concentrating on his charity work and royal duties.
